| About Us:  Music Parts House is a family owned business that was started in l987 with a vision for making music available to all. Scientific studies have shown that students who study music have higher grade point averages than those who don't, and also have improved listening skills. According to the America Music Conference, "Middle school and high school students who participate in instrumental music, score significantly higher than their non-musical peers in standardized tests." It is our goal to promote those ideals.
In our goal to make music more accessible to people of all ages, Music Parts House has a double sided approach to promoting music. First, for the music stores, we will custom design labels for strings of any type, and package them for you, in order to promote your name and give your customers a good deal on great strings. All of the strings that we use are manufactured in the U.S. and are purchased by us in bulk. We can even put together sets for unusual instruments, such as citterns, balalaikas, Irish tenor banjos, etc.
Second, for smaller towns and remote locations that may not have a music store, we have put together a spinner rack that occupies a minimum amount of floor space, and contains a variety of the basic needs. These racks are set up in retail locations, such as gift stores, video stores, grocery stores, etc. Items such as drum sticks, guitar strings, saxophone and clarinet reeds, harmonicas, and guitar picks are included, all in various sizes and gauges. We can even include items such as capos, slides, valve oil, and cleaning kits. Each rack is designed and stocked to the specific requirements of each retail location.
